Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
To provide the Bot's features, we process:
- Discord identifiers - user IDs, server (guild) IDs, and channel IDs, as needed to run commands and store server settings (like which channel mod-log messages go to).
- Staff blacklist entries - if a moderator adds someone to the staff blacklist, we store that user's ID, the reason text provided, the moderator's ID, and a timestamp.
- Message text you submit for translation - either text you type into a command, or the content of a message you target with the translate action. This is sent to the third-party translation service described below to generate a translation, and is not separately stored by the Bot once your response has been delivered.
We do not read or store messages you haven't directly asked the Bot to act on.
2. How we use it
Solely to operate the features you invoke: running moderation commands, maintaining the staff blacklist your server's moderators manage, posting mod-log entries to the channel your server configures, and producing translations.
3. Third-party services
Translation requests are sent to OpenRouter, which routes them to an underlying AI model, to generate the translated text. That means the text you submit for translation is visible to that third party for the purpose of processing your request. Review OpenRouter's own privacy policy for how they handle that data. We don't control their retention practices.
The Bot also necessarily operates within Discord and is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
4. Where data is stored
Server settings and staff blacklist entries are stored in a local database on the server operator's own infrastructure, not a third-party cloud database, and not shared with anyone beyond what's described in this policy.
5. Data retention
Staff blacklist entries and server settings are kept until a moderator removes them (via the relevant command) or the Bot is removed from the server. Text submitted for translation is not retained by the Bot after the response is sent; retention on the third-party translation provider's side is governed by their own policy, linked above.
6. Your rights / requesting deletion
Server moderators can remove staff blacklist entries at any time using the Bot's own commands. If you'd like data deleted and don't have access to those commands yourself, contact us at the address below and we'll assist.
7. Children's privacy
The Bot is only intended to be used within Discord, which has its own minimum age requirements. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone who doesn't meet Discord's eligibility requirements.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when that happens; continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
